I often think back to when I was pregnant with my daughter and wish I had taken the time to have maternity photos done. It wasn’t about feeling uncomfortable, it was more about navigating the emotional shift of closing one chapter and stepping into a new one.


Looking back now, I realize how meaningful it would have been to have images from that time.


Even if you don’t plan a full photoshoot, I always encourage expecting moms to take photos in some form,  even on your phone. This is a season you may not fully appreciate until you’re on the other side of it, and it’s one you’ll likely want to remember.
